The stranger sees only what he knows

— African proverb

The Intercultural Development Inventory®, or IDI, is a valid and reliable assessment of intercultural competence. It has been developed and tested using rigorous cross-culturally validated psychometric protocols with over 1 million respondents from a wide range of cultural groups and countries.

Upon completion of the assessment you will be provided valuable information about your own mindset/skillset toward cultural difference and commonality. You can gain valuable insights about how you engage cultural differences by reflecting on both past and current cross-cultural events or situations you have been or are involved in. Your IDI Profile results can help you increase your own cultural self- and other-understanding around such differences and commonalities.

IDI DEBRIEF

Personalized Debrief | Upon completion of your assessment you will meet with a Creative Outreach Consultant who will guide the review of your Individual Profile Report. The purpose of this 1:1 debrief is to orient and support the delivery of this valuable information about your own mindset/skillset toward cultural difference and commonality.

Again, the objective is to cultivate a container wherein you gain valuable insights about how you engage in cultural differences by reflecting on both past and current cross-cultural events or situations you have been or are involved in. Your IDI Profile results can help you increase your own cultural self- and other-understanding around such differences and commonalities.
